Summary:

Our Church is currently seeking a Pastor to lead our congregation, by providing a balanced ministry of preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and organizational leadership.

We desire a leader who will develop programs that exemplify and encourage faith in our religious ideals and enable the church to grow to its fullest potential in membership and spiritual vitality.

Responsibilities:

• Shall preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, administer the ordinances of the church, attend to the needs of the membership, promote the spiritual interest of the church.
• Provides leadership and vision for the church.
• Direct plans for ministry and church growth.
• Develop and fine tune the church structure based on a team philosophy of ministry.
• Oversee the church discipline and manage conflict.
• Seek to reconcile relationships and promote unity within the church.
• Performs administrative duties to oversee other church staff, such as youth and music ministers and Sunday school teachers, also serves as a moderator of church business meetings.
• Cooperate with local, state and denominational leaders in matters of mutual interest and concern. Represent the church’s community and civic matters and keep the church informed of developments.

   Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Theology degree in pastoral field or comparable experience.
• Ordination, licensing of the ministry of like faith and practice.
• Clear drug and background check (e.g., criminal record, child abuse and neglect.)
